Probably the best known French language study program in Paris, the Sorbonne's Cours de Civilisation Française was created shortly after World War I with the objective of promoting French culture. Since that time thousands of students of all ages and nationalities have gone to Paris to learn to speak French and understand French culture for a semester or a year in this semi-intensive course.
