The 18th century mansion that houses the Rodin Museum was once his private studio. Outside in the sculpture gardens you'll find three of his most famous works: the Burghers of Calais, The Thinker, and The Gate of Hell. Inside are more sculptures such as Le Baiser and the Nude of Balzac, as well as sketches and plaster casts that document the creative process. The museum also includes a room dedicated to Camille Claudel, Rodin's mistress, who was immortalized in the film of the same name.
