The French National Museum of Modern Art (Musée National d'Art Moderne) is located in the avant garde Pompideau Center. With a collection of more than 70,000 works of art by almost 6000 artists, it is the largest museum of Modern Art in Europe and the second largest in the world (after New York's MoMA). The exhibit divides the collection into Modern Art (1905 - 1960) on one floor and Contemporary Art (since 1960) on another floor. A wide range of art forms are presented, including painting, sculpture, photography, sculpture, cinema and design, by artists like Picasso, Chagall, Braque, Dali, Kandinsky, Matisse and Warhol.
