Arc de Triomphe

A huge triomphal arch at the top of the Avenue des Champs Elysées, the monument was built by the Emperor Napoleon to celebrate the achievements of the Grande Armée. It houses the tomb of the unknown soldier and offers views of the Champs Elysées and La Defense.
